Well the first one anyway. Had a great St Pat’s night out with Killian, Paul and Stuart last night drinking many pints of Guinness. Felt a little worse for wear this morning but otherwise it was a great night.

For those that don’t know I have got a job and life is settling down to a good routine here. I am working for a company calledLastminute.com. The work involves rebuilding their currently quite ordinary intranet system and replacing it with something else. I have been working for two weeks here now and so far it’s pretty good. Looking forward to that first pay day though. The contract runs for 3 months but there is already talk of extending it.

Next weekend will see me driving down to Dorset with Ben to visit his family for the Easter long weekend. Should be great and I am already planning a trip to Ireland for mid June, at this stage I am looking at hiring a car and just driving round the country visiting places and generally sightseeing.

The weather has changed very quickly, it has gone from snowing to 16deg one week later which is a pretty big jump. I don’t think the warm weather will hold but it’s a start and is a reminder that Summer really is actually on the way.

Next weekend also see’s uncle Dave and his boys arrive in London for a few days. Hopefully I can spend all of Easter monday with them, I just hope some touristy things are open.
